Are You Hyper-Empathic? Put on a SuperHero Suit

This post is a very quick response to comment I received recently on another article (“Children Seeing Sparkles”). It has to do with children and some young adults who have trouble controling the way they are always impacted with spirit beings or other people’s energy fields.

Sometimes, if you are hyper-empathic, you have too much imput, too much energy bombarding you. It becomes difficult to recognize if it is your own feelings or emotions, or some one else’s. It is difficult to go to public places, or to interact with friends and relatives. (See “Emotional Empath: Is This You?“)

Other people have issues with too many spirits contacting them — sometimes pestering them. Some make it seem so important to help them with some earthly task.

So I have been sharing a special technique that has helped so many people in the past few years. It may seem silly, but to those that are plagued with these hyper-empathic or super-sensitive issues, it makes a major change in how they live their lives.

SUPERHERO SUIT TECHNIQUE

Pick out a super hero that you resonate with. Let’s say it is Superman (my personal favorite). When you wake up in the morning, sit on the side of the bed. Have the intention of putting on a superman suit. Pretend to pull on the tights. Then the stretchy body suit, with sleeves. Snap or zip up the wrist area. Pull on tight gloves and stretchy helmut-type hat. You might even want to put on the face mask, but I don’t know that it is as important.

By doing this, you are intentionally pulling your subtle bodies close to you. (again, the article on Subtle Bodies will help you understand all the details.) But the important thing is that it creates a protection and closure needed to stop connecting with outside energies. Also, lower level spirit beings will not be able to interfer with your day. They will understand that you are taking control of your own energy!

Some people create variations on this technique, but I would follow this pretty close, until you feel comfortable with it and realize that there is a benefit to doing it.

As promised! While writing the Children Seeing Sparkles articles I realized that I cannot be the only answer out there! I know there are plenty of learned colleagues who are working full time on these unusual occurrences. The Truth about Seeing Spirited Sparkles

Introduction

I’ve had several people reach out and ask me about seeing sparkles, especially young teens or mothers of smaller children. Usually, the child starts seeing sparkles at the age of three or four, and over several years, gradually starts to see them more often. So by the time they are around the age of eleven, it is very common to them.  The younger children view the experience as normal, and may not say anything special about it, thinking that everyone sees them. Older children, can be ridiculed, accused of making up the whole thing, and shy away from sharing the experiences. Then I have known about some children that run and jump to try and catch the sparkles. Many parents are confused and a little frightened about the whole thing. Since that blog article was published, search engines are connecting others to me as time goes along. So I felt the need to present more, in depth information about seeing sparkles. And perhaps give a little background about what might be going on. Understand that this is just my perception on the topic, as given to me by my spirit guides and higher self.

NOTICE: ** While explaining sparkles, it must be understood that I am referring to the spiritual concept of seeing an energetic substance – not a physical vision, or eye problem.  And I encourage anyone who thinks their situation might be physical in nature to see a medical professional concerning it. **

What Do Sparkles Look Like?

Sparkles can be seen by people as small flecks of dust, iridescent particles, flashes of light, blinking clear lights and something called “static,” such as the static or fuzz you might see on the television when the station has gone off the air.

Many have said they see them better at night, in the dark. While others (especially, smaller children, see them during the daylight, even outside in the Sun. Others see them swirling in patterns, sometimes in different colors. These people have said they occasionally see black or dark sparkles, but not very often. Sometimes they spin around and blend together. Usually, it is seen with eyes closed as well as open.

Have You Ever Seen Fuzz and Particles?

I thought for a long time that I just couldn’t understand seeing them. And wished I could see them so it would be easier to relate to my clients who have witnessed it. Then after going back into my childhood, I realized I have always seen sparkles. However, I would not have called them that. To me it is more like hazy fuzz. If I could describe it, I would say it was the substance that matter is made of. It looks like manifesting energy to me.

Just What Are Sparkles: Lifting of the Veils

Now that the veils are lifting from our awareness, and the energies are opening up to other dimensions; we are able to recognize things so much more. The separation between the earthly realm and the spiritual realm is beginning to open up and blend. The thing is that the sparkles (or energy field) have always been there: just as the aura around a person is always there, but many people cannot see it. Only after they have been instructed as to what it is, and how to see it, do they really recognize it.

The way I understand, the particles that present themselves like sparkles are very visible. But it is not distinguished by the brain. It seems to be part of another dimension and not something that we are accustomed to seeing, so it does not register in the brain as real. Only after you understand that it could be a possibility can you begin to identify it.

Another way to think about it is the spirits of those who have passed away are always around us. But we might not be able to see them. Sometimes, you can see movement out of the corner of your eye. You turn your head, trying to see it physically and it disappears. It works the same way with sparkles.

Some children believe the sparkles are angel lights. That could be. There is a new resurgence of a phenomenon called “orbs”. They are large, round balls (at least larger than the sparkles) that float around, usually at night. Quite often they show up in photographs. They seem to represent spirit energies or entities of one kind or another and like to be around nature. So the thought that sparkles could be angel lights makes sense. I am given the information that the sparkles are “arranged” by angels in a manner that we can appreciate, and possibly connect with.

We All Have the Ability to Experience Sparkles

If you close your eyes very tightly and rub them with your hands, then open them, you see sparks of light. This is a natural affect due to the pressure. But with energetic or spirited sparkles it works the other way around. You must lose your focus, not wanting to focus on anything. It works better when you are in your bedroom at night after you turn off the light. (I usually close my eyes as soon as the light goes out, because when I was a child, I could see these particles moving around, forming designs. It scared me so badly that I learned to close my eyes to keep from seeing it.) but it is a great experiment to try.

Turn out your light. Lay in your bed with your eyes open. After your eyes get accustomed to the darkness, everything will have a haze, or film covering it. You might even see it moving around. Yes, you might even think you are going crazy! But believe me, you are not. The more you play with this concept, the more you will experience.

Indigos and Crystal Society

This whole phenomenon is becoming more familiar to society. Many other things dealing with the paranormal is coming to the surface. Many children and young adults are showing more abilities to understand, and exhibit psychic and mediumistic tendencies. These children, known as indigos or crystal children, are usually highly empathic and don’t know how to deal with it. These young folks are introducing the change that is springing forth even now. Those of us who are in the paranormal and metaphysical fields are here to be guides for the way-showers, and help them keep grounded. Then they are able to assist us all in the transformation of the world. I believe the kids seeing sparkles fall into this group of indigos and crystal children. And we must do much more to be of assistance.

I get so many great questions, either while lecturing and conducting workshops, or through phone conversations and emails. They are so important to everyone, that I’ve decided to start posting some of them that I thought would be of benefit to my readers.　

The following is the answer to a question send to me from a woman searching the internet for information about what her young daughter was seeing: Sparkles.

I thought this blog would be a great way for many people to gain from one person’s question. By presenting the email to you along with the answer I provided, I have chosen to change names and some circumstances just to keep anonymity. Hi there!

I hope you don’t mind my sending this email to you. I found your name on Google while trying to research “sparkles” that my 7 year old sees.

She has been seeing “sparkles” since she first told me about them when she was only 2. She was trying to catch them…jumping up, etc. with her hand opening and closing.

I have asked her for a few years now various questions regarding these sparkles.
She sees thousands of them…all different colors….all the time. Day, night, light, dark, etc. All the time.

She is amazed that I cannot see them. She assumed for a few years that everyone could. Her siblings are teenagers and she doesn’t talk about them as freely with them, since they are skeptical about her seeing the sparkles.

She answers all my questions, freely. I did have her eyes/vision tested and they were fine. I asked her pediatrician and he said she was playing. Kind of an imaginary friend.

If I hold my open hand out, she said they go on my hand. There aren’t any “bad” ones, except she doesn’t seem to like the small black one she sometimes sees. She said they are just round and look like sparkles. They don’t talk, they aren’t “people”.

Can you help explain to me, PLEASE, what she could be seeing. Is this good or bad for her? Are they auras? They seem to be in rooms, but not “on” people, so that puzzles me. Not stronger or lighter on people, just around…everywhere.

My husband is also a skeptic, so I’m not sure what to do. I certainly don’t want to tell her anything to scare her, so PLEASE let me know if you can help me out here with what you think may be happening.

Hi Karen~

Thank you so much for connecting with me. I certainly hope I can bring some resolve to you.

First of all, I feel you are very blessed to have a daughter who is open and sharing with the things she sees or witnesses. I know she is eight now, but as a two year old, she could not possibly make up something like that. Her natural responses to the phenomena is proof enough to me that it is real.

But besides that, I have known other children who see or hear or feel things other than the normal physical things we are comfortable experiencing. It is important to realize that we are all spirits. We are spirits who are really living in a physical body, experiencing the earth plane, or third dimension. Then you start to open to other possibilites. We actually are limited in many ways by our physical bodies!

Have you ever tried to walk through an open door, only to bump into the side of the frame with your hip or shoulder? That is because the true self (spirit being) saw no limitation. But the physical body really is limited by the physical doorway.

Your daughter is not seeing limitation. She sees things of a spiritual-realm nature. It is natural and normal. It exists, whether we see with our physically limited eyes or not. There is a story about the time when there were only natives living in the Americas…long before it was United States. There were men from Europe who were searching for other lands in their ships. They came to the eastern coast of America. The Indians who lived there did not see the ships because there mind had never witnessed anything that represented such a thing. It was totally foreign to them. The brain could not register the vision of the ships.

Several days passed and the leader started to notice ripples in the water…slowly then began to see what had always been there~~the ships.

Our children these days are coming into the world totally aware of the spirit realm. They see no limitation. We must be alright with that, because it shows how wonderfully our human race is evolving!

My daughter was born in 1974. She was raised in an openly spiritual environment. We taught her about communication with angels, spirit guides and loved ones who have passed away. When she was about 30 years old she reminded me that she could see things in the dark atmosphere of night. She described it as looking at a television set when the network picture was not on…gray fuzzy stuff. Only she saw it anytime at night, not when she was looking at television.

When she focused on it, the fuzz started to move and change, then take form. It would shift into animals and scenes that she recognized. Sometimes it was fearful to see, because she didn’t understand some of the things visible to her. They looked scary, like monsters.

It took a long time for me to understand what in the world she was talking about. Even when she explained it in terms I could understand, I still didn’t get it. (and I’m a spiritual medium! ) So for your husband and other older children to question the validity of the experiences, I totally understand. They just don’t “get it”.

But that’s okay. It isn’t important for them to understand. Your daughter knows you believe it, and that is enough.

I believe she is seeing ethereal energy. It is not people’s auras per se, but the same stuff that they are made of. It is just an unorganized form of that energy: pure and simple. Quite a blessing.

As she grows, she may begin to see it change and take form too. I hope she is able to continue to describe these sparkles to you, expecially as they take form. She may be the one to write the book on these experiences.
