Subtle Bodies, Being Hyper-Empathic; Guiding Psychic Kids

soaringUPDATE: Does Your Child See Sparkles, Guiding Psychic Kids Book

I’m working on a chapter that will help parents understand why their child is so sensitive, or empathic. And it all boils down to the subtle bodies that reside in the aura (energy field around the physical body). During the normal process of unfoldment for mediumship, we learn how to open our subtle bodies, which opens a pathway, allowing the spirit to connect and commune with us. But many people who are hyper-empathic, such as our young psychic kids and young adults, already have their subtle bodies wide open all the time, not realizing it or knowing what to do about it.

Here is a section of the book I am writing now about subtle bodies:

To understand why kids these days are hyper empathic and totally open to psychic phenomena, such as prophetic dreams, seeing or hearing spirits or ghosts, or knowing the future, I need to open the topic of subtle bodies. Also, an explanation of how spirit mediums can connect with the spirit world will be helpful.

First of all, if your child is able to see spirits or hear them, or has healing hands, then more than likely, the child is highly empathic, too. Being empathic means to be hyper-sensitive to other’s energies: such as, feeling sick to your stomach while being around someone with an intestinal upset, or feeling a headache when their mother has a migraine. Other sensations can include excitability, unknown fears, anxiety while in a shopping mall or large department store, anger, over-zealous outbursts, etc. All these things are carried through the our energy fields (auras), and a highly empathic person can feel these emotions and sensations – usually not knowing that they really belong to another person.

To understand what being empathic is, and learn to control it, will make a world of difference to you and the child. Then all the other gifts will be controlable too.

Just because you have a spiritual gift, does not mean it should be controlling you. That is backwards. But as children come to us now, they are coming in totally open to the gifts without any instruction. Most of the baby-boomers (born around 1955 or before) you might know, who are psychic or mediumistic probably had to sit for development of their gifts. (Although there are some who received their gifts as a result of near death expereinces, severe fevers, or sudden mental or physical shock.)

In this world now, the energies are so intense in the universe, and the times are so ripe for transformation, that our kids are coming into the world ready to work. However, we parents, guardians, and teachers have to step up to be their instructors – to help them understand the most advantageous manner to use their gifts correctly.

What About Ouiji Boards?

Interesting… I just got a call from a college student, who was studying jounalism. She was preparing a magazine article assignment for her class, and was calling people to add information to her chosen topic. The subject was about paranormal activity and spirit communication. Since I have been a medium and metaphysical teacher for over 30 years, she found my information on the internet, and decided to call me.

Her main focus was on how interest of the paranormal has become so much more prevalent. It just came back to media again and again. But what was even more interesting was her next question.

She asked me about Ouija boards. The Ouija (trademarked name) is a board with letters and numbers on it. Generally, two people sit together (knees touching) and lightly place their finger tips on a planchette (small, light board with easy moving casters, that allow a pointer or window to point out each letter – forming words) This is supposed to create contact and communication with spirits from the “other side”.

This student journalist asked me why so many have a negative response when she mentions this “game”.

I remember as a young teenager, one Christmas gift that all three of us girls received. We always got some kind of boardgame to play as a family. That particular year we got a Ouiji board! Of course, my parents, being Methodist church-going people, and very conservative, had no idea of the reputation of this paranormal divination tool!

We kind  of played around with it and marveled at the almost instant movement we were able to get. And Dad teased us about spooky stuff happening. (He loved to scare us unmercilessly, especially during ghost movies.) But we never really knew why that pointer moved when we touched it. And after awhile, it was put in the closet for several years.

After I moved out of the house and married, my sisters, who were in high school by then, came to the house and asked us to keep the Ouiji board. They did not want it in the house with them! They proceeded to explain what had happened. They were together with another girl friend one evening, during a sleepover. And of course, they took turns trying out the mysterious Ouiji board. They asked silly questions about this boy and that boy, and when would they get married, etc.

Then, (why, I do not know) they asked when the friend would die! It said she would die when she was 18 years old. I guess it really freaked them out, especially since they were so close to that age. And they packed up the board and asked us to take it.

We did, and I did not want to see it, so I took it to the basement and placed it on a shelf in a storage area and closed the door.

The next year, their friend came down with a very quick infection and died. She was 18 years old.

The Ouiji board stayed in the basement until we moved from that house. When we were packing things, I went down to clear out the basement and throw away unused things — including the board. But it was not there. It was gone. I do not know where it went. And I will not ask. Do not want to know…

What I can tell you is this: when using any form of spirit communication tool, always treat it with respect. Ask that only the highest and best vibrations be contacted. Say a prayer of protection for  yourself with a white light of protection or a pink light of love. Do not act silly. It is a very serious thing when you connect with the spirit world. It is not a game.

Many years of study and training is needed to work with the world of spirit. And if you do not take it seriously, then do not fool with it at all.

You can find out much more about developing your mediumistic abilities by studying my book Psychic Integrity, The Respected Practice of Modern Day Mystics. It will show you how to start with integrity and form a solid, loving foundation to unfold those gifts.

What experiences have you had with these types of psychic and spirit tools?

BOOK REVIEW: Through the Eyes of Another; A Medium’s Guide to Creating Heaven on Earth by Encountering Your Life Review Now, by Karen Noe

Through the Eyes of Another is a special how-to account of the author’s personal experiences in connecting with her own life review (before she passed over!). As a person’s body dies and they pass into the spirit world, their spirit goes through a life review to experience the emotions and feelings of everyone they have touched in their life. So you could potentially experience the hurt and upsets you caused those people in your life, as well as the joys and love. That must be a very powerful experience.

The author, Karen Noe, being a spirit medium is able to communicate with the spirit of loved ones after their passing.

There are many spirits that come to her through readings with clients. And these spirits very often have regrets for things they wished they had said, but never did. Or are distraught from the things they did to their family and loved ones. So Noe is able to relay the messages of regret and their apologies.

During a time of distress, Karen started to wonder if it was possible to encounter a life review while still in the living. She asked her angels if it was possible. They started to show her a wonderful technique that involves writing letters to the people she wanted to make peace with.

“As a medium, I often hear regrets from those who have crossed over to the other side that they ‘should have’ or could have’ said or done certain things while they were still here. Unfortunately, at this point, the only way they feel they can communicate these unspoken words to their loved ones is through a medium, like myself.” ~~Karen Noe

This book shows us how to form letters to both deceased loved ones and those still in the living. There are different categories like: gratitude, forgiveness, and one to show love for yourself. Noe includes many of her own experiences in this guide, which really helps to understand exactly how powerful this technique is. But she also shares experiences that others have had by using the living life review.

Karen also includes lots of “goodies” in the back of the book, dealing with getting feedback from deceased loved ones, other ways to see through the eyes of another, how to maintain the level of peace you have achieved, and finding love for yourself. In the appendix, she shares what happens when someone dies unexpectedly, when a young child crosses over, and connecting with animals.

I knew I wanted to read this book, since I am also a medium. I must say that Karen speaks the truth, because I can relate to so many of the experiences she recounts here. And I have also had validation with the communication with the spirit of those who have passed away.

I certainly recommend this book to anyone who has lost a loved one, and feels like they have not resolved issues with them, or if that person crossed over unexpectedly. If you have had too much hurt and dissention from your family over the years, this is an ideal way to create peace within the family. For many people who wish to understand what happens when the spirit leaves the body at death, Noe gives a brilliant explanation.

I hope you enjoy it!

Ghosts and Spirits: What’s the Difference?

After being a spirit medium for over 30 years, I’ve had a chance to understand the process of spirit leaving the body at death. Some think this is scary and paranormal, but there could be nothing more normal than our true story as Spirits being Humans.

The fact that I can communicate with the spirits might be strange and spooky to some people. But when you have a loved one that has passed away, you want to know if they are alright. So, who you gonna call?

I’ll be giving a lecture Sharonville Ohio Convention Center at the Victory of Light Expo[ http://www.victoryoflight.com] this weekend. [Saturday and Sunday, April 21-22, 2012]. My lecture is called Discarnetes, Ghosts and Hauntings . It is on Sunday at 2:00pm in Room B. The last time I gave this lecture, I had a really excited group of attendees (75-80). They were all sitting on the edge of their chairs, and were full of questions too!

Here’s just a short sample of what I’ll be speaking about this weekend:

Spirits are our loved ones or other beings that have lived on the earth, but are now in the spirit world. They have gone through the entire process of evolving into what we understand as full transformation.

A ghost, on the other hand, is a lost spirit that has not fully embraced the transformation into the spirit world. It remains attached to earthly things or people in an attempt to re-assimilate.

Earthbound spirits are believed to be the spirits of deceased people who remain tied to the earth for a variety of reasons. Religious sects claim that all spirits are of the devil and are here to perform trickery, and lead people down the wrong path, but others declare that as we pass from this life, our sprit can remain earthbound.

It is unclear whether earthbound spirits can see and hear the world around them. Some are able to interact with the living, but many require the assistance of a psychic or medium to communicate.

Reasons for remaining earthbound vary, probably due to the life circumstances at the time of death. It is believed that the majority of earthbound spirits remain out of choice. Some may be confused souls seeking assistance in reaching the afterlife or have unfinished business that they feel must be completed before passing to the next realm.

Here are some reasons spirits remain earthbound:

1. Refusal to accept death

2. Waiting for…

3. Guardianship

~~~sorry! Can’t give it all away! If you want more, come on out to the Expo. If you are interested in ordering a DVD of my last lecture, please send me an email and I’ll connect with you. psychicintegrity@gmail.com
Blessings to you.
The Short List of Helpful Hints on Consulting a Medium or Psychic
Here are a few things to think about beore you have a reading with a psychic or medium — or other reader, such as tarot or astrology:
  • Do you need a medium or psychic? A medium offers communication from spirit; a psychic attunes to and interprets the energy field of the sitter.
  • More money doesn’t necessarily mean better information. Service offered by a good reader is invaluable; expect to pay a reasonable rate.
  • No medium can promise communciation from a particular spirit loved one. If conditions are right and the medium is suitable for your loved-ones to link with, then, very likely, you will get what you hope to recieve.
  • Predictions: What you do tomorrow is being planned spiritually today. The energy of that plan is in the aura; but the future is not etched in stone.
  • Maintain your own power. Spirit loved-ones wish to communicate to let you know they are OK and that there is life after death. Then, to guide and inspire, not to tell you about career, romance, and finances.
  • Know when to stop. Just as there is addiction to alcohol and gambling, consulting a reader can cause dependency and obsession. Also, if the reader is suggesting you come back weekly, know that there is something else going on. There could not possibly ber more to cover in a week’s time.
A good reading can be a very beneficial thing and should assist you through any concerns in your life and possible future endeavors. It should cover at least a six-month period, if not a year.
If you are dealing with a special problem, such as grief or a developing situation, then you may require several sesions. This would certainly be considered a spiritual counseling rather than mediumistic communicatin with a departed loved one. To get more information about readings, what to look for, or how it works please get my book, Psychic Integrity, The REspected Practice of Modern-Day Mystics. http://www.PsychicIntegrity.com
A Child’s Near Death Experience
This story was forwarded to me through email. I almost didn’t read it. But I’m glad I did.
You might not believe the story. I choose to believe it as real. I know these things happen. My experiences with people over the years proves to me that there is life after death, as well as near death experiences. And my connections with today’s children only strengthen my belief in this type of situation. I share it with you now:
DAD’ S STORY
On July 22nd I was in route to Washington , DC , for a business trip. It was all so very ordinary, until we landed in Denver for a plane change. As I collected my belongings from the overhead bin, an announcement was made for Mr. Lloyd Glenn to see the United Customer Service Representative immediately.
I thought nothing of it until I reached the door to leave the plane and I heard a gentleman asking every male if he were Mr. Glenn. At this point I knew something was wrong and my heart sunk.
When I got off the plane, a solemn-faced young man came toward me and said, “Mr.Glenn, there is an emergency at your home . I do not know what the emergency is, or who is involved, but I will take you to the phone so you can call the hospital.”
My heart was now pounding, but the will to be calm took over. Woodenly, I followed this stranger to the distant telephone where I called the number he gave me for the Mission Hospital . My call was put through to the trauma center where I learned that my three-year-old son had been trapped underneath the automatic garage door for several minutes and that when my wife had found him he was dead. CPR had been performed by a neighbor, who is a doctor, and the paramedics had continued the treatment as Brian was transported to the hospital.
By the time of my call, Brian was revived and they believed he would live, but they did not know how much damage had been done to his brain, nor to his heart. They explained that the door had completely closed on his little sternum right over his heart. He had been severely crushed. After speaking with the medical staff, my wife sounded worried but not hysterical, and I took comfort in her calmness.
The return flight seemed to last forever, but finally I arrived at the hospital six hours after the garage door had come down. When I walked into the intensive care unit, nothing could have prepared me to see my little son laying so still on a great big bed with tubes and monitors everywhere. He was on a respirator. I glanced at my wife who stood and tried to give me a reassuring smile. It all seemed like a terrible dream. I was filled-in with the details and given a guarded prognosis. Brian was going to live, and the preliminary tests indicated that his heart was OK, two miracles in and of themselves. But only time would tell if his brain received any damage.
Throughout the seemingly endless hours, my wife was calm. She felt that Brian would eventually be all right. I hung on to her words and faith like a lifeline. All that night and the next day Brian remained unconscious. It seemed like forever since I had left for my business trip the day before.
Finally at two o’clock that afternoon, our son regained consciousness and sat up uttering the most beautiful words I have ever heard spoken.. He said, “Daddy hold me” and he reached for me with his little arms.
By the next day he was pronounced as having no neurological or physical deficits, and the story of his miraculous survival spread throughout the hospital. You cannot imagine, when we took Brian home, we felt a unique reverence for the life and love of our Heavenly Father that comes to those who brush death so closely.
In the days that followed, there was a special spirit about our home . Our two older children were much closer to their little brother. My wife and I were much closer to each other, and all of us were very close as a whole family. Life took on a less stressful pace. Perspective seemed to be more focused and balance much easier to gain and maintain. We felt deeply blessed. Our gratitude was truly profound.
The story is not over (smile)!
Almost a month later to the day of the accident, Brian awoke from his afternoon nap and said, “Sit down Mommy.. I have something to tell you.” At this time in his life, Brian usually spoke in small phrases, so to say a large sentence surprised my wife. She sat down with him on his bed, and he began his sacred and remarkable story.
“Do you remember when I got stuck under the garage door? Well, it was so heavy and it hurt really bad. I called to you but you couldn’t hear me. I started to cry, but then it hurt too bad. And then the ‘ birdies ‘ came.”
“The birdies?” my wife asked puzzled.
“Yes,” he replied. “The birdies made a whooshing sound and flew into the garage. They took care of me.”
“They did?”
“Yes,” he said. “One of the birdies came and got you. She came to tell you. “I got stuck under the door.” A sweet reverent feeling filled the room. The spirit was so strong and yet lighter than air. My wife realized that a three-year-old had no concept of death and spirits, so he was referring to the beings who came to him from beyond as “birdies” because they were up in the air like birds that fly. “What did the birdies look like?” she asked.
Brian answered, “They were so beautiful. They were dressed in white, all white. Some of them had green and white. But some of them had on just white.”
“Did they say anything?”
“Yes,” he answered. “They told me the baby would be all right.”
“The baby?” my wife asked confused.
Brian answered. “The baby laying on the garage floor.” He went on, “You came out and opened the garage door and ran to the baby. You told the baby to stay and not leave.”
My wife nearly collapsed upon hearing this, for she had indeed gone and knelt beside Brian’s body and seeing his crushed chest whispered, “Don’t leave us Brian, please stay if you can.” As she listened to Brian telling her the words she had spoken, she realized that the spirit had left his body and was looking down from above on this little lifeless form. “Then what happened?” she asked.
“We went on a trip,” he said, “far, far away.” He grew agitated trying to say the things he didn’t seem to have the words for. My wife tried to calm and comfort him, and let him know it would be okay. He struggled with wanting to tell something that obviously was very important to him, but finding the words was difficult.
“We flew so fast up in the air. They’re so pretty Mommy,” he added. “And there are lots and lots of birdies.” My wife was stunned. Into her mind the sweet comforting spirit enveloped her more soundly, but with an urgency she had never before known. Brian went on to tell her that the “birdies” had told him that he had to come back and tell everyone about the “birdies.” He said they brought him back to the house and that a big fire truck and an ambulance were there. A man was bringing the baby out on a white bed and tried to tell the man that the baby would be okay. The story went on for an hour.
He taught us that “birdies” were always with us, but we don’t see them because we look with our eyes and we don’t hear them because we listen with our ears. But they are always there, you can only see them in here (he put his hand over his heart). They whisper the things to help us to do what is right because they love us so much. Brian continued, stating, “I have a plan, Mommy. You have a plan.. Daddy has a plan. Everyone has a plan. We must all live our plan and keep our promises. The birdies help us to do that cause they love us so much.”
In the weeks that followed, he often came to us and told all, or part of it, again and again. Always the story remained the same. The details were never changed or out of order. A few times he added further bits of information and clarified the message he had already delivered. It never ceased to amaze us how he could tell such detail and speak beyond his ability when he talked about his birdies.
Everywhere he went, he told strangers about the “birdies.” Surprisingly, no one ever looked at him strangely when he did this. Rather, they always got a softened look on their face and smiled. Needless to say, we have not been the same ever since that day, and I pray we never will be.
Angel Babies
Patricia McGivern's book, Angel Babies
Angel Babies author Patricia Seaver McGivern, has first hand experience with miscarriage and communication with her unborn child. This is a fascinating book that speaks to many women in their untold grief to help the process of coming to terms with the sorrowful situation. McGivern has a sweet and mild manner that comforts people as they read and process their experiences.
Patricia states, “My hope is that this book helps heal those who’ve lost a baby, validates those who’ve had their own special experiences, enlightens those who haven’t, and opens doors for anyone on the greater path of understanding the soul.”
I gave a reading to Patricia two or three years ago in Florida. I was exhibiting at an expo in Tampa and lectured there. Patricia came to me for a session and I remember telling her that this book absolutely needed to be written and published…hpwever she was able to do that. But I made it very clear there were so many people out there that needed to hear her experiences.
No one else had ever addressed this subject. It is just too painful. But Patricia has approached it with love, understanding and acknowledgement of unseen experiences. Now there can be healing on the planet through this vessel.
Bless you, Patricia for all you have done for grieving mothers.
Grief, and Spirit Evidence of Our Daughter’s Passing
Beaunet Genniere
Beaunet Genniere Leath
 February 14, 1974~~February 17, 2010
Our beautiful daughter, Beaunet, 36, passed from this earth just last month. She was diligent in eating a vegetarian style, only organic foods that were good for her. She spent time every day either doing Pilates exercises or walking. She loved life and acted like it. She did the things one is supposed to do to live a good, healthy life.
But around 10:30, on the morning of February 17, I got a call from the University Hospital in Tampa. “I’m calling for Melissa or Charles Leath.”
“Melissa, speaking.”
 ”We’re calling about a patient who came into emergency this morning in distress…” [what does that mean? ...distress?] I was puzzled.
“Yes?”
“She was brought in by the parametics.”
“What’s going on?”
“She died.”
Needless to say, this was not the most diplomatic way of delivering the news that your child has died, unexpectedly. Being 1000 miles away didn’t make it any better.
“NO! That’s not right. You’re wrong. That can’t be…” I was hysterical. Literally, hysterical. “She isn’t sick, she just was at a routine doctor’s appointment last week…there’s nothing wrong with her…I just talked to her last night!”
The nurse confirmed next of kin information she had in her hands. She confirmed Beaunet’s birthday (just three days earlier). It was her information. But it couldn’t be.
The story continues to unfold: Beaunet called 911 when she had problems breathing. It was around 7:00am when they got her to the hospital. She had unlocked the apartment door for them. But after they got her to the emergency room, she passed away. They worked on her for another hour. But could not revive her.
We didn’t know anything ahead of time. She didn’t call us when she felt bad. She did what she was supposed to do. She called 911. When they have you on the phone, they try to keep you on the phone to relay information to the paramedics as they are preparing on their trip to the emergency.
So she couldn’t call us. I feel badly that she didn’t have us there with her. Even if she called us, 1000 miles really keeps you apart from each other. There was no way we could do anything.
 But, still…I didn’t know anything. I couldn’t understand why she didn’t come to visit me in spirit. After all, I am a medium. I didn’t understand that at the time.
I was able to call my husband, Charles. He was out doing errands. “I need you to come home right now,” I said between sobs. “Just come home right now.” I had enough sense to know not to tell him on the phone.
As he came up the walk, I opened the door and let it out. “Beaunet’s dead!”
The next few hours are a blur. We walked around in circles, crying, sobbing, calling Beaunet’s name…not knowing what to do. I had to go to her. We had to go. We had to call people. We had to…?
As I cried out, “Beaunet…” I heard my dad, who passed away in 1980 say to me, “She’s here, I’ve got her.”
It was a double edged sword. Hearing my dad confirm it, made it too real. I felt worse. Horrified. But it also made me realize she was indeed alright in the spirit. And that loved ones were taking care of her. It was all so fast, so soon, so final. It hurt like a raw sore in the core of my stomach.
No one ever told me about the physical pain. Emotional pain is one thing. But it physically hurt. Just like she had been ripped from my stomach.
As Charles and I were holding each other, I cried out again…”Beaunet, no, I don’t want you to go.”
Immediately I heard her say, “But now I can sing with Michael Jackson!” Beaunet, like so many others her age, was a fan of Michael Jackson all her life. She dreamed of him, bought everything he ever recorded. But she was also pursuing a singing career. And to sing with Jackson would be the best thing ever!
These two statements from the spirit world, were evidence that she was in good company. She was totally aware and fully in spirit. They were good signs. If I had not been a medium, knowing about life after death, I might have not heard this information. It was comforting then as it is now.
But still…I wondered why I had not seen her after the death of the body. It puzzled me.
We flew down to Tampa immediately, arriving late in the evening. The next day were interviews with local officials, medical examiners (death was from a blood clot in the lungs), funeral director. Finally, on the second day, we were allowed to see her body.
This is something I insisted on. Maybe there was a huge mistake. Maybe she was still alive. Maybe this was really someone else. But most of all, if it was no mistake, I had to see my baby one last time.
As we walked into the parlor of the funeral home, there she was, on the table, covered with a lovely patchwork quilt. It was definitely Beaunet. No mistaking. Her color was still good. Her hair soft and sweet (she had just washed it the night before).
Her eyes and mouth were closed, of course. We saw such a relaxed and serene look on her face. We hugged her, we talked to her, we kissed her. All of a sudden, Charles said, “Look at her lips.”
Her lower lip had separated and her teeth were showing…It looked like a smile…like she had managed to physically move her mouth to show us she was fine. This is called physical phenomena. Then I looked up at a picture above her head. It was a huge field of iris flowers. I cried.
My main spirit guide is Iris. She always presents physical evidence for me when I need confirmation. Yes, my baby was fine. She was alright. I could finally let go.
And at that moment, I felt like Beaunet let go too. She let go of the body. She had been hovering around the body until we could get there. All could process now.
That is why I could not see her around me at the time of her death. She was attached to the body just enough, waiting for us to come to her. I could hear her thoughts and messages, but she was not ready to appear.
How wonderful Spirit is to help us through our grief, by bringing such confirming and consoling evidence. It would be so impossible to deal with if there were no way to understand the transition. But in Creator’s loving way, we have resolve.
The shock and pain is still there. If I did not know the things I do about life and passings, I think it would be unbearable. But now, we are able to work through our grief of losing the physical connection of our daughter. And look forward to the growing connection with her spirit in our lives.
“…For nothing loved is ever lost, and she was loved so much…”
Working with Your Spirit Guides
You have a whole community of spirit guides around you to see you through life. Guiding forces have been part of our existence since the beginning of time.
Who is your spirit guide?
Usually, your guides will present themselves in human form, or with a familiar name. Historically, a guide will be of a special culture or ethnic origin, such as Native American, Chinese, Egyptian, Irish, etc.
Your guide may have a certain vocational association: physician, musician, professor, healer, etc. Others may present themselves as a color, sound or sensation like royal blue, chimes, north wind.
The main reason for this is so to associate with the guiding force in an easier manner. Many people feel more comfortable with the idea of Inner Self or Higher Self. These are wonderful ways of looking at it.
There are three general classifications of guides:
  1. Personal Guides~~These guiding forces are around you all your life. It is their mission to assist you in any way needed. They gently nudge you into positive situations. But we don’t always pay attention at the time. You may be attracted to something that represents your guide. This could be a flower, or a rainbow, or a crystal, for example.
  2. Guides for Special Gifts or Talents~~These guides may be with you all your life, or only a short period of time. Their main purpose is to help you in an area of expertise, such as, playing the piano, a knack for working with children, or weaving a blanket.
  3. Master Teacher or Doctor~~These guides are specifically for your spiritual growth. Many of them help in healing techniques or spiritual counseling. They may also help you in communicating with people or teaching.
Before spirit incarnated into the bodies we have now, we decided the experiences we wanted to help our soul evolve. After taking on the physical body, we may be doing other things than our life purpose.
This is when your guide will come to influence you and gently urge you onto the path again. He will never tell you what to do or make you do something against your nature. The guide is only there to assist you. You always have free will, and can choose to follow the advice or not.
Sometimes loved ones you knew in this lifetime may come to help you. Even though your loved one comes with love and help, the advice she has may not always be helpful. You may have taken Aunt Sue’s advice when you were 10 years old.
She is still operating with the same mental capacity. Her spirit has not evolved as greatly as your spirit guides have. Being in the spirit world does not guarantee enlightenment. Better to seek the advice or counsel of a more evolved guide or spirit who can give you a broader look at the problem, rather than a limited earthly view. then you can embrace Aunt Sue for encouragement on the path.
Who are your spirit guides?
I have a very personal opinion of who spirit guides generally are. This is not something any one told me, nor have I learned it in seminars or classes. It is information brought through spirit in many different readings I have goven and other meditative moments.
I believe guiding spirits are rerepresentative of previous lives. Imagine a large wagon wheel. The center cog of the wheel represents your life now. This is the one small part of yourself you are right now. The outer wheel represents all you have ever been. And the spokes are different interpretations of lifetimes you have experienced.As you live this present life, you may need help in familiar areas or experiences. Then a past life remembrance is made known to you in the form of a guiding spirit.
The essence or spirit of a previous life is always connected to the soul. When the soul realizes you need guidance it provides you with a past life experience through the system of spirit guides.
These guides are usually with you for the whole lifetime. It is easier for humans to grasp the idea of help coming from individual beings, than to imagine it as an essence, energy or vibration. It’s easier to describe this as a spirit guide…
What Is The Spirit World, Anyway?
 Understanding the Levels of Spirit
Seeing into the Heavens
Seeing into the Heavens
As you grow up from a small child into adulthood, you are always introduced to the term, heaven. Normally, it is when a close loved one dies and your parents try to explain to you about the passing of life. They really don’t know what it is or how to describe it. It usually ends up being a lovely place we all go when our bodies die. And Grandma is now an angel.
But over the years, we begin to believe heaven or the spiritual world is the only higher level of vibration separate from the physical world: all spirits in the spirit world are highly evolved beings. Quite often, while discussing this work, generalities are made. Psychic readers talk about “the material world” or “the spirit world”. This is very limiting. It completely leaves out the majority of layers that represent the vibrations of spirit.
The world of spirit is used to convey all frequencies including that of loved ones who have died. But we tend to only think of our grandparents in the spirit world. The world of spirit is very vast and includes lower as well as, higher entities. You may be aware of angels and spirit guides in the reachable spirit realm of existence.
There are also expanded levels (or other heavens) with archangels and other highly evolved entities unreachable to mere mortals, such as in the Un-Manifest, Expressive, Causal, Mental, and Emotional Planes.
These planes do not need what we know as the laws of physics. Space and time do not exist outside of the physical world. Those of us in the body are the only ones who maneuver in the third dimension, and have no concept of what it would be like not to live here.
We are all part of one huge, dimensionless object made of things not of this world. Yet they are manifested in the elements of solid, liquid, gas and the ethers so we may live and understand them with physical recognition.
Our bodies are alive because they are temporarily inspirited within a time and space window. Our souls are eternally alive because they are eternally inspirited, part of the infinite existence of all.
As our awareness expands in life with the experiences we are having, we begin to see life as a whole: The wholeness of all of creation and interconnection with All. This symbolizes our idea of total consciousness.
Chain of Command
To be able to understand how Spirit Communication works, it is first important to understand the different levels of spirit. This is something that is rarely spoken of or taught. A large number of readers, whether they are psychics or mediums, may not have any concept of where they are getting their information. To them, especially if there was no instruction, spirit is spirit and it must all be good. Nothing could be further from the truth.
To me, it could be risky not understanding the chain of command. As explained earlier, there are many trickster spirits in other realms and astral energies representing them selves as well known Biblical personalities, historical figures and even entertainers. These impersonators actually get their kicks by making you think they are who they say they are.
