Grounding Essentials for Psychics and Mediums


Question: Why would we need to center and ground ourselves if we are ascending?

Answer: I know, we are constantly trying to raise our vibrations to reach a higher frequency space. Some of us call it ascension. Or moving from the Third Dimension to the Fourth or Fifth. (As in the song, Dawning of the Age of Aquarius by Earth, Wind and Fire). But let’s think about this for a minuet ~

~ We, as Spirit-Beings, have decided to incarnate into the Third Dimension to have an Earth Experience. How could we have a physical experience if we were not Third Dimensional? To move up and out of the physical body to ascend to another dimension means we have forsaken the prime directive.

I feel we are to expand ourselves to accommodate higher frequencies while still holding to Third Dimensional Earth. Our bodies can morph or intertwine vibrations to become more than we are now. We have some of the most productive and amazing qualities as humans. And we are only using a small amount of the body/brain potential available to us.

So, how can we ground ourselves here, and still expand into higher frequencies? Here are a few of my own thoughts:

1. Komara, a way of expanding consciousness without blowing apart. Keep your feet together and arms up in a “Y” shape. This opens you to other realms and higher information, such as communicating with your guides, etc. Then stand with your feet spread out at shoulder width and arms down to your sides. This grounds your spirit in the body, making it easier to maneuver on Earth. Use both positions to keep balanced.

2. Use earthing, or walking on the ground barefoot as a way to instantly ground your body to earth. If you are worn out and exhausted from a busy day, or communing with spirit, this brings your energy back asap.

3. Understand why events happen instead of getting caught up in the drama – perspective in all things.

4. Pieces of the higher realms are leaking into our third dimension. Find out where these things are leaking without your knowledge or permission and close them or welcome depending on what feels right for you.

5. Increase your energetic awareness. When you open up to intuitive concerns, you can feel information coming in. Pay attention to it. Know when it opens and when it closes. Be in control of that by putting your focus there.
Balanced energy flows and resonates with well-being. Unbalanced energy leads to dis-ease.

6. Detect Energy from a Higher Vibration. By practicing as a lightworker, and being open to your psychic senses, you have a whole new dimension of consciousness. This is True Knowing in its highest sense.

7. Frequencies of Food, Medication, and Other Factors. In order to stay grounded be particular about the frequencies of the foods you eat. Food is fuel for the physical body.

For example, you know what happens if you download a lot of useless information on your computer. It will crash. Cheaper fuel will cause a car to run inefficiently. Food with negative energy or lower vibrations tears down the physical body and opens it to disease. It can cause problems in your subtle body system, and slow down your evolution.

Processed foods, additives, dyes, hormones, and medications can all be problems for your well being. This is the problem that the energy-sensitive Indigos ran into when they began to incarnate in Earth’s plane. Their sensitive systems were contaminated by foods that don’t resonate with their higher vibration. This is when many had reactions and health problems, such as attention deficit disorder (like an energy failure) and hyperactivity (like energy surges), leading to misdiagnosis and overmedication.

Like the new Indigos, we as adult, hyper-sensitives, our bodies cannot hold the negative vibrations of all of the garbage going in. The “old system” can make us sick. Organic diets hold a much higher vibration and thus are better suited to the transforming body and evolving psychic senses.

A high vibrational diet consists of foods that are ALIVE and that positively benefit the person, as well as the planet as a whole. High vibration means having more light, and thus less density. Consider trying a whole food one-day diet a week. See what it feels like.

Keeping yourself grounded and aware of your own vibrations is the best way to achieve your ascension process and keeping centered.

Solar Eclipse: 7 Tips for Empaths


August 21, 2017 marks a very special day for the earth! She is being separated from the Sun for several minutes. You may think this is a mini-event in the scheme of things, but you would be incorrect.

There is a very sensitive energy field surrounding our planet. It helps us handle emotions and logic, and keeps life at a regular and constant flow. This energy field helps plants, animals, birds, fish, and humans to regulate their existence. And whenever this flow of energy is interrupted or altered in any way, that flow shifts.

If you are empathic (aware of it or not), you will be effected by this event. The actual eclipse takes over 2-3 hours to happen. And you can experience the most wonderful shifts in nature if you open to it. But if you have been paying attention the last few months, you realize that everything has been gearing up for this event: upheaval on all levels, letting go of unessential things, emotional outbursts, extreme joy, extreme pain – both physical and emotional. So this eclipse has been brewing for some time!

The Sun and Moon have always been special symbols to me and held magical powers. They represent the delicate balance between day and night. But more than that, the Sun means life to us all. And the Moon is the ability to recognize the time for rest, so the body and mind can rejuvenate. So we need both in regularity. When that regularity is interrupted, we feel the resistance. It is an uneasy sense, and could seem frightful.

But I feel the intense need for this interruption. Seems that nature is saying, “pay attention now”. Could we be too complacent in our lives? Could we be ignoring important aspects in our world? Look at the possibility that you should re-evaluate how your life is going.

1. Know the Facts Research the event. Many people from ancient times have sewn negative thoughts about the eclipse. It was a time of much fear, since nature was not responding in a normal way. Whatever was not understood was feared. Know that you have better information now. This is a logical event that falls in the realm of progress through the universe. We have better ways of understanding it, and know it is not the end of the world.

2. Gather Energy You can gather a large amount of positive energy during the eclipse. It brings the best of yin/yang (feminine/masculine) aspects. So it will help balance your personal energy and perspective. To do this, simply breathe with intention.

3. Experience the Full Eclipse Be open to the full effects of the eclipse. Find a place out in nature – such as an open field, clearing space in a wooded area, public park, or even your backyard that you can sit on the ground. Plan this ahead of time so you have everything needed. (solar glasses, water, snacks, etc.) Use a meditation known as Mindfulness (or Present Moment Awareness). You can keep your eyes open or closed, but only be aware of what is happening at the moment. You will be surprised at the way things change around you – shadows, sounds, breezes, etc. This is the full experience!

4. Be Open Instead of trying to hide and shield your energy, do the reverse. Open all subtle bodies (connected to the chakras) to feel and sense everything the animals are feeling, and be aware of the changes that the oncoming darkness brings. Have prepared affirmations to benefit your experience. Here are some I will be using:

a. I am willing to feel all of nature during the eclipse today.
b. I send love to all living things.
c. I accept the possibility of change in my life.
d. I know I am continually safe during this experience of awareness.

5. Alone or With Friends? Decide ahead of time if you want to be alone during this experience, or share it with family and friends. Either one is great, according to what you want to do. It will also depend on how your friends and family will respond to the eclipse. Are they just out for a fun, good time? Or do you think they will share in your wish to experience it?

6. Eclipse Glasses Be sure to bring your eclipse glasses. And make sure they are approved and certified as safe to use for this purpose. Check out this information by USA Today.

7. Watch the Sun or Things Around You? This eclipse is a very rare event, so you really should see the full eclipse! It will be awesome, and I can’t wait to see it! But do you think you want to watch the whole thing? It probably will last for 2-3 hours before the full cover and after. So plan to use much of this time just being present and aware. You can look up at the Sun (be sure you have the glasses on! each time you peek) from time to time. And the rest of the time just pay attention to things around you.

This Solar Eclipse is a great time to use your empathic abilities to their full extent! Don’t try to hide yourself, but embrace the ability you have. This chance may never come again. And you will gain better control of your abilities.

7 Symptoms of Energy Ascension

It’s been a long haul, but finally you feel like you have come at least a little bit closer to the ascended aspects of the New World Energy. And you thought it would be all fun and games now, right?

Guess what? Just arriving does not mean you are in fully! Your body must adjust to the higher frequencies. Your mind and emotions must overcome the traditional societal attitudes. And your family and friends may not even understand what is going on with you! Some have called this a “Soul-Quake,” or sometimes called “Ascension Flu”. And I think that is a perfect way to describe it.

We are moving full steam ahead into the Age of Aquarius. (You know, this is when we let go of that 2,000 year age of Piscean traditions of law and order, logical thinking, and needing someone of more status telling us what to do: religion, government, structured schooling, etc.) Strange energies are invading our bodies and are showing in just-as-strange physical symptoms.

As a die-hard age is dispelled and we open to new and wondrous possibilities, we must, by order of the universe, begin to feel symptoms of energy shifts. And this will happen regularly as our bodies are adjusting and upgrading to the higher frequencies.

Go with the flow, don’t fight it. If you feel tired and exhausted, rest and get plenty of sleep. Drink plenty of water since you could be detoxifying and dehydrating quicker than usual. These changes are not necessarily being experienced by everyone concurrently. But we all will recognize them as we go through this “Universal Change”. ** (see awareness note below)

Here are a few of the main symptoms you might experience:

1. Sleep issues
Inability to wake up, or periods of deep sleeping – rest period after a lot of energy has come in, preparing for another period of intense inflow of energy, processing another leap in expansion.
Waking up at odd hours – or waking up at the same time on the clock each night.

2. Neck pain/stiffness
Foot pain, lower leg pain, stiffness and aching (old man syndrome) or feeling the need to shuffle along while you walk, barely able to walk or move – all due to grounding onto the new earth and taking in the new energies into the body via the feet and legs. Also, low and mid-back pain and discomfort, sometimes severe, often between the shoulder blades

3. Too much stress.
High degree of stress, anxiety, but no apparent reason for this. New energy is coming in and pushing old patterns, beliefs, and behaviors to the surface for release. Also extreme exhaustion/fatigue due to our bodies transforming into a lighter structure to reside in higher dimensions. You are becoming less dense and this takes an incredible amount of energy.

4. Loss of memory
Short term, such as, what did I just do, say, eat, read, can’t remember appointments, commitments, etc. Or longer term – can’t remember what you did, said, wore last week or last month.

5. Digestion/digestive tract issues
Constipation, loose stool, stomach upset/discomfort/pain, bloating and indigestion, inability to properly digest food. Your new vibration and the vibration of the food you are consuming no longer align. Tastes in food change, for example you may notice you lose a taste for and stop eating meat. Eating certain kinds of food causes you to shake inside and out. Allergies: new ones develop or old ones act.

6. Feeling out of body
You are not grounded, not present, untethered, or spacey. You just feel like you are not ‘here’ anymore. You are walking between two worlds or dimensions, or in a new dimension and not fully present to it. Loss of ability to (remember how to) write certain words, spell, or speak, or comprehend. This is due to jumping back and forth between dimensions, disconnected or not aligned with time. Part of you is here and part of you has jumped to another dimension.

7. Heightened sensitivity to sound, light and smell. The energies around you are tuning up your frequency and vibration. You may have a ‘tinny’, hollow or strange sound in your ears.

Never fear! This is all part of the NEW Norm. As you begin to realize that is what the issue is, then you can relax and allow the process.

How to Lighten Up Your Frequency

Lighten up your frequencies. By that I mean find higher vibrational things that resonate with you – instead of old, heavy, limiting thoughts and practices.

In desiring to become more enlightened, you will naturally find yourself lightening up. We, as humanity are awakening. And we are searching out our connection to Source. By doing that, we turn infinite accessible light into physical energy. So we naturally feel lighter!

There are many ways people have been doing this over the years. Monks and Chi Gong masters, for instance can generate chi (energy) from their own internal Light Source.

Breatharians are people who believe they can “ingest” light, like plants. They do this by taking in the sun’s energy and breathing prana.

You can use nourishing, high vibrational foods to convert your own body and mind to new levels of energy. Humans today are more sensitive and light than the humans of the past, so they require more living, natural foods instead of the heavier, dense foods we have been used to.

No major changes are required to do this at first. Take your time as you change your thoughts and perception on how and what you are eating. It is more important to raise the thoughts you have about your diet. Be kind to yourself about it. Send love and gratitude to your food. Be present while you eat, chew, breathe, and have appreciation for this energetic exchange.

Consider eating more organic foods, and add more raw fruits and vegetables to your plate on a regular basis. You’ll feel better – and Lighter!

BOOK REVIEW: Through Indigo’s Eyes

I just wasn’t ready for a novel, I guess. As a teenager, I tried to read novels like all my friends. But finally I realized that I like the how-to books better; Seemed like I was learning something while I was reading. (Maybe I mistakenly thought I wasn’t wasting my time by sitting still and reading!)

But this book, Through Indigo’s Eyes really is like a how-to book. After all, it is basically a true story – like a biography. That means I can learn something while reading it. So it is okay. I know, that is a backwards way of looking at it, but I think it justifies why I really like it!

First of all, the story is very well defined. You can imagine where Indigo Russell lives, what her friends look like, how she feels – really feels about stuff in general, but especially about being psychic. Yes, Indigo is psychic, and has been for most of her life.

Many children these days are psychic, and have no idea what to do about it, how to handle the intense information, visits, or visions they receive. So these kids could really relate to Indigo’s story. It mostly takes place during her high school years, but has many back flashes of her earlier years when nothing really made sense, and she tried to quiet the voices in her head.

Then the unthinkable happened: Indigo had a vision of her best friend. Actually, it was her friend’s boyfriend with another girl! How could she tell her friend what she saw? Should she tell her? Maybe it wasn’t true. (But she knew from experience that all her visions came true.)  Here we have the opportunity to look at how to deal with visions and psychic information.

Indigo Russell’s story is one that so many teens and young adults can associate with. She is very empathic and feels everything – all the experiences that someone else feels. Only, it also makes her sick to her stomach. She doesn’t know how to protect herself from it, or to turn it off when she needs to.

Her spirit guides and loved ones in the spirit world try to help her through it all, by speaking to her in her head. But Indigo has a difficult time accepting their help, or all the things she sees in in her mind’s eye about the future.

Such is the life of many young people in this time we are living. They come into this world fully-loaded and connected to spirit communication and psychic powers. Indigo also is overwhelmed by all of it, and has a very challenging time dealing with the feelings and energies. She feels there is no way out, except…

 

NOTICE: this book deals with thoughts of suicide, and parents should review it themselves before allowing their younger children to read it.

 

The story also addresses other teenage situations such as lies, jealousy, and being misunderstood. It is a very intense read and once you pick it up, you cannot put it down, so make sure you have time to give to it.

Parents of tween-agers and teens will especially appreciate this book. It will help them understand what their child might be going through or experiencing. And I am sure teenagers will really love this book. In fact I am going to send a copy to my teenage great-nephew right now!

Kids Seeing Sparkles: Questions and Answers on Fear


There have been so many responses to my first two articles about “seeing sparkles” that I felt  guided to write this further information. As the conversation continues, more information is brought out. And I see other areas that should be addressed concerning this newly recognized phenomenon.

Thanks to all that have posted comments over the past year, you have been so much help in this endeavor.

Please realize, that I am not an expert on this subject. But I am learning very quickly about the different aspects of it, and hope that I am able to help you understand, even if in only a small way, what might be going on.

 

FEAR: This particular article is based on some questions that have come in dealing with fear about the sparkles: either by the children seeing them, or by their parents. Bear with me as I explain somethings that might help.

 

Understanding Energy

Basically, energy is simply energy. Energy is always energy. Energy can take the form of many different things: clouds, houses, people, Jello,  even  thought forms. It also can be the way those in the spirit world show themselves  (such as with Sparkles).

Here is an example of how we sometimes view energy: If someone comes into your house, and you feel strange and uneasy around them, then you usually will say, “There’s something wrong with that person,” or “I get a bad feeling around him.” It depends on how we feel about the person as to whether we think it is good or bad. This is only a judgment. It is not how the energy is. It could be that the vibration of that person is just different from yours, and that is why you feel something. But it does not mean that the person is bad.

The same thing can be said about other things in life, such as sparkles. The reason I say that is because our younger children have a difficult time relating what they see or feel to us. Their experience is still very limited to find references for this situation. So, if they have seen a scary movie, or ghost story, then they know the feeling of fear. It is a quickening, or tense feeling. Perhaps, the sparkles are connected to spirits or angels. But if there is no reference to that, then “ghost” might be what they say and believe. So, something that originally did not present itself as negative, becomes scary. Of course, this might not be the case for everyone. But I see this in many situations.

 

Empowerment

Now I want to talk about being empowered in these strange situations. In the physical world, we teach our children to be safe, and how to protect themselves. Example: Your child might be at school playing on the playground with other kids. A man comes up and says scary things to the child. You teach you child ahead of time to stay away from them, and to say “Go away, stay away from me.”

The same is true when dealing with spirit energies of any kind. They may be positive spirits. But they seem scary to your child. Or the sparkles might expand, and show themselves all the time. It might get out of hand, and frustrating. Sometimes, children remember the scary movies and relate what they see to something negative. Then their imagination can create more of it. It is real to them. (I have to say here, that once in a great while, there can be a real negative energy. But that is very unusual. The more common thing is that the sparkles, or situation, is confusing, or misunderstood. And the child doesn’t really know how to react to it.)

Talk to your child about being powerful, just like the scenario about the playground. Each person is “in charge” of what goes on around them. You have a say so, wheather you want to be around good energy or bad energy. So your child needs to know that they are empowered to be in charge of that. Even if it is good sparkles, if your child is scared of it, or just doesn’t want it around them anymore, they should be able to do something about it.

It is important to be nice and calm. Your child can say something like, “I don’t want to see you sparkles at night anymore. Go away now. Leave me alone.” They should say it very firmly, but in a nice way. If the child is too small, then the parent can help. But remember not to be agressive or angry about it.

Through conversations with others, I have found that children usually out-grow the sparkles. At least, they become less intense. I think it has to do with being involved with the worldly things of life. Other chilodren embark on a wonderful connection and relationship with the sparkles. This would be similar to converstations with angels or spirit guides, which I consider normal.
