7 Symptoms of Energy Ascension

It’s been a long haul, but finally you feel like you have come at least a little bit closer to the ascended aspects of the New World Energy. And you thought it would be all fun and games now, right?

Guess what? Just arriving does not mean you are in fully! Your body must adjust to the higher frequencies. Your mind and emotions must overcome the traditional societal attitudes. And your family and friends may not even understand what is going on with you! Some have called this a “Soul-Quake,” or sometimes called “Ascension Flu”. And I think that is a perfect way to describe it.

We are moving full steam ahead into the Age of Aquarius. (You know, this is when we let go of that 2,000 year age of Piscean traditions of law and order, logical thinking, and needing someone of more status telling us what to do: religion, government, structured schooling, etc.) Strange energies are invading our bodies and are showing in just-as-strange physical symptoms.

As a die-hard age is dispelled and we open to new and wondrous possibilities, we must, by order of the universe, begin to feel symptoms of energy shifts. And this will happen regularly as our bodies are adjusting and upgrading to the higher frequencies.

Go with the flow, don’t fight it. If you feel tired and exhausted, rest and get plenty of sleep. Drink plenty of water since you could be detoxifying and dehydrating quicker than usual. These changes are not necessarily being experienced by everyone concurrently. But we all will recognize them as we go through this “Universal Change”. ** (see awareness note below)

Here are a few of the main symptoms you might experience:

1. Sleep issues
Inability to wake up, or periods of deep sleeping – rest period after a lot of energy has come in, preparing for another period of intense inflow of energy, processing another leap in expansion.
Waking up at odd hours – or waking up at the same time on the clock each night.

2. Neck pain/stiffness
Foot pain, lower leg pain, stiffness and aching (old man syndrome) or feeling the need to shuffle along while you walk, barely able to walk or move – all due to grounding onto the new earth and taking in the new energies into the body via the feet and legs. Also, low and mid-back pain and discomfort, sometimes severe, often between the shoulder blades

3. Too much stress.
High degree of stress, anxiety, but no apparent reason for this. New energy is coming in and pushing old patterns, beliefs, and behaviors to the surface for release. Also extreme exhaustion/fatigue due to our bodies transforming into a lighter structure to reside in higher dimensions. You are becoming less dense and this takes an incredible amount of energy.

4. Loss of memory
Short term, such as, what did I just do, say, eat, read, can’t remember appointments, commitments, etc. Or longer term – can’t remember what you did, said, wore last week or last month.

5. Digestion/digestive tract issues
Constipation, loose stool, stomach upset/discomfort/pain, bloating and indigestion, inability to properly digest food. Your new vibration and the vibration of the food you are consuming no longer align. Tastes in food change, for example you may notice you lose a taste for and stop eating meat. Eating certain kinds of food causes you to shake inside and out. Allergies: new ones develop or old ones act.

6. Feeling out of body
You are not grounded, not present, untethered, or spacey. You just feel like you are not ‘here’ anymore. You are walking between two worlds or dimensions, or in a new dimension and not fully present to it. Loss of ability to (remember how to) write certain words, spell, or speak, or comprehend. This is due to jumping back and forth between dimensions, disconnected or not aligned with time. Part of you is here and part of you has jumped to another dimension.

7. Heightened sensitivity to sound, light and smell. The energies around you are tuning up your frequency and vibration. You may have a ‘tinny’, hollow or strange sound in your ears.

Never fear! This is all part of the NEW Norm. As you begin to realize that is what the issue is, then you can relax and allow the process.

Are you empathic? Do you seem to feel what other people are feeling? Are you upset or angry for no apparent reason? Does your stomach feel queasy, but you are not sick? Is it difficult to go into large department stores? Here are some PREVENTION AND COPING SKILLS

Be vigilant about maintaining your vibration at a high enough level to enable you to navigate through life more purposefully, authentically, and, most importantly, safely. You will attract whatever you imagine, so to be mindful of the frequencies you are focusing on. But beware: do not manipulate anyone’s free will. This will weaken your energy quickly.

Be the observer; don’t let yourself get hooked in any drama. As you experience these changes, you may notice that others around you are treading water, or are resentful of the new us. The reason for this is that they are still living in the old world of duality and control. Don’t take it personally.

You can maintain a high vibration level by:

• Release energy vibrations from shame, blame, or guilt
• Refuse victim consciousness
• Cut energy cords that drain you
• Ground your energy through meditation and relaxation
• Remove emotional blockages through regression therapy and Reiki
• Protect yourself by visualizing a white light around you
• Remove yourself from drama and chaos
• Be selective regarding whom you invite into your space

Empath Judith Orloff, MD also gives us some suggestions. Empaths are highly emotional sponges. If empaths are around peace and love, their bodies assimilate these and flourish. Crowds or negativity, though, often feel assaultive, exhausting.

“For empaths to fully enjoy gatherings with family and friends, they must learn to protect their sensitivity and find balance. As an empath, I’ve always been hyper-attuned to other people’s moods, good and bad. Before I learned to protect my energy, I felt them lodge in my body. After being in crowds, I would leave feeling anxious, depressed, or tired. When I got home, I’d just crawl into bed, yearning for peace and quiet.” — Judith Orloff

Here are six empath survival strategies from Orloff’s book, The Ecstasy of Surrender to help you manage empathy more effectively and stay centered without absorbing negative energies.

Empath Survival Skill #1 – Move away
When possible, distance yourself by at least 20 feet from the suspected source. See if you feel relief. Don’t worry about offending anyone. At the gathering try not to sit next to the identified energy vampire. Physical closeness increases empathy.

Empath Survival Skill #2 – Surrender to your breath
If you suspect you are picking up someone else’s energies, concentrate on your breath for a few minutes. This is centering and connects you to your power. In contrast, holding your breath keeps negativity lodged in your body. To purify fear and pain, exhale stress and inhale calm.

Empath Survival Skill #3 – Practice ‘Guerrilla Meditation’
Be sure to meditate before the gathering, centering yourself, connecting to spirit, feeling your heart. Get strong. If you encounter emotional or physical distress while at an event, act fast and meditate for a few minutes. You can do this by taking refuge in the bathroom or an empty room. If it’s public, close the stall. Meditate there. Calm yourself. Focus on positivity and love.

Empath Survival Skill #4 – Set healthy limits and boundaries
Control how much time you spend listening to stressful people, and learn to say “no.” Set clear limits and boundaries with people. Remember, “No” is a complete sentence.

Empath Survival Skill #5 – Visualize protection around you
Research has shown that visualization is a healing mind/body technique. A practical form of protection many people use, including health care practitioners with difficult patients, involves visualizing an envelope of white light around your entire body. Or with extremely toxic people, visualize a fierce black jaguar patrolling and protecting your energy field to keep out intruders.

Empath Survival Skill #6 – Define and honor your empathic needs
Safeguard your sensitivities. In a calm, collected moment, make a list of your top five most emotionally rattling situations. Then formulate a plan for handling them so you don’t fumble in the moment.

And finally, here are some practical examples of what to do in situations that predictably stymie empaths:

~If someone asks too much of you, politely tell them, “No.” It’s not necessary to explain why. As the saying goes, “‘No’ is a complete sentence.”

~If your comfort level is three hours max for socializing–even if you adore the people — take your own car or have an alternate transportation plan so you’re not stranded.

~If crowds are overwhelming, eat a high-protein meal beforehand (this grounds you) and sit in the far corner of, say, a theatre or party, not dead center.

~Some empaths are highly sensitive to scents, if you are overwhelmed, for instance by perfume, nicely request that your friends refrain from wearing it around you. If you can’t avoid it, stand near a window or take frequent breaks to catch a breath of fresh air outdoors.

If all else fails and you absorb stressful or negative energy while at a gathering, when you get home take a bath or shower. A bath is a sanctuary after a busy day. It washes away everything from bus exhaust to long hours of air travel to pesky symptoms I have taken on from others. Soaking in natural mineral springs divinely purifies all that ails. Or use Epsom salts, or essential oils.

How to Lighten Up Your Frequency

Lighten up your frequencies. By that I mean find higher vibrational things that resonate with you – instead of old, heavy, limiting thoughts and practices.

In desiring to become more enlightened, you will naturally find yourself lightening up. We, as humanity are awakening. And we are searching out our connection to Source. By doing that, we turn infinite accessible light into physical energy. So we naturally feel lighter!

There are many ways people have been doing this over the years. Monks and Chi Gong masters, for instance can generate chi (energy) from their own internal Light Source.

Breatharians are people who believe they can “ingest” light, like plants. They do this by taking in the sun’s energy and breathing prana.

You can use nourishing, high vibrational foods to convert your own body and mind to new levels of energy. Humans today are more sensitive and light than the humans of the past, so they require more living, natural foods instead of the heavier, dense foods we have been used to.

No major changes are required to do this at first. Take your time as you change your thoughts and perception on how and what you are eating. It is more important to raise the thoughts you have about your diet. Be kind to yourself about it. Send love and gratitude to your food. Be present while you eat, chew, breathe, and have appreciation for this energetic exchange.

Consider eating more organic foods, and add more raw fruits and vegetables to your plate on a regular basis. You’ll feel better – and Lighter!

Understanding Lightworkers


Have you ever heard the term “Lightworker” before? Do you know what it means?

Lightworker is a very intriguing concept. And it probably started in use during the 1970s, when metaphysics was beginning to be seriously explored. Many spiritually concerned people also resonated with the word too.

What is a Lightworker?
Lightworkers are people who are here for the purpose of raising the consciousness of mankind. They serve in a variety of ways to help expand light and spread goodness to humanity.

Lightworkers are from all around the world and become one in mind, heart and spirit. When they connect together in a unified thought they express the collective creative process. It is any being, who is aware of their true nature, their eternal “I Am” Presence and acts in accordance with it.

Are You a Lightworker?
Everyone is a Lightworker whether they know it. The real question arises then, “Am you aware of who you are?” A Lightworker is very aware of their true presence and living in accordance with the divine plan.

What does a Lightworker do?
A Lightworker becomes a vehicle for divine activation. This role is a very simple and a natural one. It can be anyone from the mother at home or a line worker in a factory. But they hold a positive energy to always see the good in people and know that there is a beneficial ending to all situations. They “Hold the Light”.

Common usage today: Lightworker is used in much more common terms these days. It generally refers to anyone who is aware of their Higher Self (Spirit/Soul), and has a deep desire to live their life in Light and Love. This may sound very “airy-fairy” to some people, but doing so is a very difficult thing. After living in the world — the third-dimension world — it is difficult to process life without judgment.

But today’s Lightworker lives to their best ability and flows energy to others around the world and special causes needing extra vibrations to transform a situation.
